Cruz is a whack job. Definitely not a Hillary fan. She's a fucking whore. I like Paul, but he might be a bit too polarizing.

My wish would be for a moderate conservative who is palatable to the mass of folks that are the bulk of the voters out there who don't vote the party line, but vote for the person.

I wish there WERE actually people like you describe.....the average Seattle voter will vote for anyone with a D behind their name and I (and many other gun owners) would rather cut off our balls than vote for a possibly anti-gun Democrat

sorry, but there really needs to be a 3rd party option (or no party affiliation??), you can't really vote for the person because that person CHOSE their party based on the party's platform

Independent/libertarian.

Yes, you won't end up voting for a winning candidate.

But your conscience can be clean.

You hit the nail on the head! Keep religion out of politics! Leave women alone - their body, their rules!
Protect the 2nd amendment (and the balance of the constitution), leave SS & Medicare alone (95% can't retire without it),
and QUIT SPENDING MONEY AND PUTTING US FURTHER INTO DEBT!!!

Then why vote at all? If the person doesn't have a chance in hell of winning you are wasting a vote. Yes you can say "don't blame me because I didn't vote for that asshole" but if ya didn't vote you could say the same thing and you would have saved the postage stamp. Sadly sometimes you have to vote for the lessor of 2 evils and ya cant get much worse than Hillary because Obammy can't run again and Carter is too old

And this is why we don't have a viable third party. Because so many people think as you described.

Vote... Vote for whomever you choose but vote.

It's simple... for "Our" process to work... "You"... have to vote.

From all the reports - only 1/8 to 2/3 vote at most.

I feel compelled to tell other gun owners to vote too. Most of the ones I know already are, but not all.

Yours is the reason that Harry Reid keeps on getting elected with less than 20% of the vote! All over Nevada there are hate billboards but when 15 people run for the same position when there were only 2 or 3 viable candidates this happens..........

I vote for many moderate democrats who don't follow their party line to a T. They need to align themselves with a particular party in order to get elected. Sheldon, Blake, Hatfield and Hargrove are a few examples of moderate pro-gun democrats in my area. There are more out there. Seek them out.

Sigh...that is so reductionist it's not even funny. Maybe if "small government" politicians and so-called libertarians stopped legislating marriages, bedroom activities and women's bodies - more people (including young urban dwellers, gay couples and women) would vote more conservatively (or would be less compelled to vote for Hillary). I fucking hate Hillary but I certainly have no love for a two-faced "Republican" that would have their ass handed to them by Barry Goldwater.

No, just repulsed by a hack like Cruz. Pretending to be a "liberty" candidate when he's anything but.

You cannot deny a HUGE percentage of our population use abortion as a litmus test for politicians. So if a politician is for killing fetuses, this is a positive thing and they will NOT vote for someone who even is personally against abortion but has done nothing legislatively about it. Yet these people say their candidate is all about freedom.........freedom for WHOM? Not gun owners. Not people who pay self employment tax. Not fetuses. Not people who want to own or run businesses. They are for freedom for people who agree with them is about it.

Now I do agree there are two faced Republicans, but man.........Hillary is a Champion for the People? Wow. The press is falling for this. Are you freedom lovers falling for it too?
