GO ahead, waste your vote. When Hillary goes after your guns you probably say "I didn't vote for her" but you wasted your vote on some grand idea that'll never get elected so in all reality you supported the group that will take your guns because you didn't vote for the group that believes in the 2nd amendment.
Yup, it's your fault because you were too worried about who was able to fuck who!

Sigh...that is so reductionist it's not even funny. Maybe if "small government" politicians and so-called libertarians stopped legislating marriages, bedroom activities and women's bodies - more people (including young urban dwellers, gay couples and women) would vote more conservatively (or would be less compelled to vote for Hillary). I fucking hate Hillary but I certainly have no love for a two-faced "Republican" that would have their ass handed to them by Barry Goldwater.

You cannot deny a HUGE percentage of our population use abortion as a litmus test for politicians. So if a politician is for killing fetuses, this is a positive thing and they will NOT vote for someone who even is personally against abortion but has done nothing legislatively about it. Yet these people say their candidate is all about freedom.........freedom for WHOM? Not gun owners. Not people who pay self employment tax. Not fetuses. Not people who want to own or run businesses. They are for freedom for people who agree with them is about it.

Now I do agree there are two faced Republicans, but man.........Hillary is a Champion for the People? Wow. The press is falling for this. Are you freedom lovers falling for it too?

Yes, a huge percentage of our population uses abortion as a litmus test for politicians and as others have noted, many other people use the 2A, gay marriage, belief in global climate change, etc. This is how US politics works in the 21st Century because we have been condition by our rulers to respond to the lowest common denominator - fear. And you have proven yourself to be vulnerable to this form of control through the very language you used:

So if a politician is for killing fetuses...

Yikes, dude... :peep:

And yet you scoff at the hyperbolic, fear-mongering rhetoric of those in the anti-2A movement?

Well? It is what it is. It's not fear mongering. You live in denial of what something really is. That seems really strange to me. To call it "women's rights".....shit that's just liberal language corruption.

I have faith.

My opinion of what 2 men do or what 1 woman does to a fetus is strictly my own opinion.

I don't believe I have the right to tell them WHAT to do.

However, the big disconnect is that while I am okay with people different from me with different opinions having the same rights, they are not okay with me having my guns and faith.

My Great Grandma who was VERY religious when she was alive always would say, the Lord created Adam and Eve, not Adam & Steve.

For some reason that saying has always stuck with me, even though I have no issues with anyone's sexual preference personally. Just shows how old school things used to be.

The left has cognitive dissonance in this department. SOME Liberals see this disconnect and wake up to ALL freedoms. Probably a good way to separate the leftist/communist/statist loons. If you aren't for the entire Constitution, you are against the entire Constitution and the true meaning. :flag: :mulletslayer:

I also think that republicans should drop the crusade against gay marriage. I don't think that abortion should be a choice to the way it is. People use abortion as a form of birth control these days and that's pretty sick. With that said the social issues are not what should control this election. We need to get people back to work. We need to repeal obamacare. We need to get our debt under control. If we can't manage these things the social issues won't matter because we will be a poor country. I think we all agree gun rights also matter.

I think the wrong questions are being asked. Should government be involved in marriage? That is a better question.

Government should be involved in relatively little.

It kind of IS fear mongering. "Dem Wimmenz be killing the little babies!" Sorry, but that's the uneducated voice I hear whenever I read or hear something like "killing fetuses". Your making the choice to not have a baby. No one (anymore) is putting a stake into a child's head upon birth. You're not killing a child, you're flushing out a collection of cells that haven't had time to develop into anything. LATE TERM ABORTIONS ARE ILLEGAL, in case you weren't aware.
