seems Delayed status is the new norm

sure wish they would get their act together. one day your fine the next you get delayed. its like incometance is running the FBI,
and even getting a UPIN isnt a quarantee

Friend of mine bought a SMLE, thirty minutes later I bought my operator gun, both in the same shop, we both cleared in a couple minutes.

My theory is, if you buy later in the day they have less staff at NICS/FBI to review if needed (east coast time) so you have less chance of a delay in the morning, pacific time.

It holds water. I'm rather consistently delayed on Sundays as well.

My delays tend to happen around 1-2pm.. likely during shift changes.

Weekends are the worse . I always go to second but it might be because of the Clearances my Co keep doing on me for the Gov

Went smooth today, I watched 3 go straight thru clean in 30min @ Brad's tonight, no delays, denials etc..
Maybe you guys are on too many Govt lists??
