Active Shooters less frequent?

So the FBI had that funny report from 2000 to 2013 that active shooters are increasing. I've seen other data that says they are staying costant or going down if you look outside that range.

Anyone have links or know what report show they are constant or on the decline?

I read something quite a while ago that said they were declining, however the news media makes it appear differently. These days, any activity with a gun is instantly broadcast as a headline news article. Social media makes it even worse.

I look forward to the day when 'a good guy with a gun' makes headline news. It happens very rarely.
