I try to buy my ammo when I'm down in Oregon visiting family/friends (no tax no shipping) 2 months ago brass cased 9mm 115g and 124g FMJ was $200 for 1000rds. If you like, I'll pick you up some on my next trip down south.

For shooting - range ammo, Perfecta at Walmart is hard to beat.

Sgammo or ammunition depot tend to have pretty good prices on SD stuff. Also check out the classifieds here for some boxes, if you don't want shipping. Avoid box stores for SD. $25 locally for 20 rounds HST or $29 online for a box of 50. As others have said, factor in shipping. Any FMJ that is brass cased should be fine for target practice. $12-15 is about the going price for decent stuff for target practice, if you look. Brads guns and a few other places have $12 boxes of blazer.
