Well this is new. Just don't arm them and let's see what happens.

Shiiiiit, that's not the 'Murican way son!

1. We have to arm one side, and real shady like, cause we don't want to be *seen* as arming one side. (It will be painfully obvious that we're arming one side, as Russia/China will be arming the other and...you know...communism)

2. Then, we have to act all surprised and offended when the side that we armed uses the arms that we gave (sold) them to take over <insert Middle Eastern country>. Almost like they did it just to spite us...and who in their right mind would spite America? Are you fucking kidding me?

3. Next, we expend Trillions of dollars and thousands of lives destabilizing various areas in and around the aforementioned Middle Eastern country "making things right".

4. Finally, when the Middle Eastern country is entirely destabilized, various terroristic organizations will happily fill the void created by our wiping out of the existing (often sadistic) government. The same government that we (directly or indirectly) assisted in coming to power in the first place!

Having said that, I wish both sides nothing but the best in their mission to destroy each other.

Only if you don't really understand who ISIS is, what they believe, and how their organization is structured. Hint: it's not enter remotely the same as the Taliban or Al-Qaeda. This conflict was nearly inevitable.

Edit: the only other group they're even remotely compatible with is Boca Haram. If they manage to form some kind of alliance, shit is really gonna go sideways for a while.

ISIS is too racist to align with Boko Haram.
