Yesterday John Carlson (KOMO Radio) had Ed Troyer on the air and was talking about the guy who shot his wife, and killed himself even though there was a restraining order served on him.
Did anyone catch the show? I heard Ed Troyer actually state that when they got to the bottom of incidents like this they were most often committed by people obtaining firearms through illegal channels. He even went so far as to say that most LEGAL gun owners don't get into situations like this and aren't generally a problem for law enforcement.
I'd love to find any recording of the show and send it to a certain Liberal I know that thinks ALL gun owners grab their guns whenever there's a conflict.
Anyone??

Tried searching the Komo Radio site?
If that fails, call/email the station and tell them to email you an mp4 of the segment.

https://twitter.com/PierceSheriffmaybe ask the officer himself if there was a recording, or if he can email you something to that effect.

I heard the same thing, but it was the Ron and Don show. One of the two asked him specifically if gun owners tend to do more things like this. Stupid question... Great answer though, Troyer said that legal gun owners are rarely a problem as they tend to follow the laws.

Amazing! Criminals use guns to commit crimes, while law abiding gun owners use guns within the confines of the law.
It's always been about the people and not the tool. We have a gun crime problem because the bleeding heart types constantly give violent criminals yet another chance.

I used to do ride alongs with Dep Troyer when he was on the road. Always had fun, and he was always more than fair.

He straight up compared me to a cop killer just because I open carried at Starbucks. Hopefully he learned the error of his ways and these new comments reflect a more rational opinion.
