yeah, after that fight... people will look away from boxing as a true entertainment sport... manny tried to make it a good fight... mayweather of course stayed with what he knew... running around the outside of the ring avoiding a fist fight..
of course boxing is dead at least until the next pacman fight...
but there's nobody else that will bring that kind of money to the show like money floyd...
and nobody else is ever going to pay to watch him fight manny again...
so all in all this was a payday for the boxers, a loss for the sport and the public...

Seriously, why did people expect to happen?
Mayweather, in a fight where he had everything to lose and not much to gain, completely changing his style? The style of fighting that has worked to perfection his entire career?
Pacquiao marching headlong into the trap set by Mayweather?
Neither man made a mistake, and when you get guys of that caliber in a ring and neither goofs up, the fights or rather boring…but boxing can be boring if you're just looking for knockout punches and flailing fists.
