The robber's gunshot wounds are pretty self-explanatory. No word on how his arm was broken.

Doesn't mention the would be victim's status.
Did the shooter flee in the SUV or stay on scene to file the report?

Anyone got further info?

Let's not get too excited until we know if the victim was legally allowed to own a gun...

Or poor training.
Or subject was closing and not enough time to come to a proper shooting stance.
Or bad angles.
Or back drop was unsafe.
Or 1000 other reasons.

Rounds impacted threat, threat stopped, call it a good day and move on.

Witnesses told police the wounded man had tried to rob another man outside a store near Martin Luther King Way South and S. Othello Street. But the victim pulled out a gun and shot the robber in the thigh and the calf.

That's the good part of town, right?

BTW, the gold chrysler sebring was stopped by SPD/Tukwila shortly after, and the driver released...

and SPD managed to piss off WSP in the process... SPD requested WSP take over as primary, but ended up lighting up the car instead, before WSP arrived...

tsk tsk

  :plusone: :plusone:

Not the movies folks where you instantly have a perfect sight picture, clear backstop or time to reach that range perfect stance and grip the second your hand touches your pistol. Being mass transit area the victim may have also had a bag or something else in hands if traveling to/from work further encumbering draw and shot..

Fact is badguy made a stupid decision and got shot for it, nobody else got shot/hurt, the rest honestly who cares.
