Walked into a local gun shop, and there sitting almost brand new and with a lovely low price tag was a SKS-M.

I may seriously sell my AR when the upper arrives and buy the M. Much nicer rifle.

I think its a pretty cool surplus rifle. Id prefer one over an AK. But for it is what it is, regardless of being tactical or not, its inferior to an AR.

**edit** Yes I realize its a M. But its still an SKS. Like I said, I dig em, but I'd never oay more than $300 for a SKS no matfer wbat. But I can see how SKSs aee more up your alley than an AR.

Even a tenth of an Operator would keep the AR and buy the -M and share the Friskys with the cat for a month or so...

Where's your head man.....?

Shameful. :gibbs:

I can keep the AR and let the M go, or let the AR go and get the M. I'll see how I feel about it tomorrow.

I know the difference between an M and a D, and if it was a D, I would have gone into hock on the spot somehow to grab it. As for where, it was somewhere in Western Washington. And $415. And nearly brand new.

Don't. Stick with the AR.

Hillary gets elected and you'll triple your investment overnight. Yes, the sks is more limited but so are the options for it. Here's the thing. I get that you're not daddy warbucks. No offense. But that's why an AR is so good for you. Have an extra $20 this paycheck, bam, you get a vfg. And it's like a whole new rifle. Next paycheck you have $50. You get a red dot and one again renew your interest in the rifle.

It's like the gift that keeps on giving. And upgrades are cheap. Stick with it. Cliche or not.
