I have one you can have for free... Needs a mount though.. and a cig plug.. both of which can be had for ~$20...

Thanks for your input everyone. Also thanks for all the offers. At the end of the day.....my plan is this. Take the Garman that sparky so kindly offered, mount it on the dash and use it for back-up. As my primary, I'll be taking a large paper map,tacked to the roof of the technical I will obviously need. Marine will be the riding shotgun on the rear-mounted Ma Deuce and Mark 19. We'll absofuckinlootely guarantee your pizza in thirty minutes.......or there'll be carnage in our path.
Techno weenie......your in charge of wiring the lights/sound/cloaking field.

I ignore my GPS about 1/2 the time and take a different route. It is good for traffic updates and things, but the GPS route is usually the one with the worst traffic during rush hour.
My ball and chain is one of those brain dead GPS idiots... She can't find the red robin 6 block from her parents house(12ish blocks from us).
Me on the other hand. I learn by doing. I know where basic landmarks are in relation to me, and my destination and go from there. I've used my GPS maybe 3 times since I bought it in I think 08.
