So, FPCON Bravo was announced, effective immediately, at ALL USNORTHCOM installations.

Normally, there's a joke about someone dropping a canteen on march, or forgetting their PT belt...

OK, some will say they just bumped it up due to the ISIS threats...


Now, National Museum of the U.S Air Force has not only closed, but kicked people out, and cancelled all its events and tours.

Methinks something is going on, and not just 'ISIS threatened us'...... They threaten us every day..

What could have happened to get USNORTHCOMs ass so tight it upped the threat level?

Basically, there are a couple threat levels for military installations...

Normal = Normal
Alpha = shit's normal, but you should keep an eye on things
Bravo = credible threat
Charlie = Imminent threat
Delta = active threat

Bravo means they have intelligence, and are expecting action, although it doesn't mean it will occur, they feel that there's enough of a reason for them to ramp up vehicle inspections, double checking IDs, etc.

IOTW, they're expecting something to go down.

Couple that with TSA in SFO, SEA, and DCA (so far) anal probing EVERYONE, something's up...
