Got an AR, and ammo just for this purpose.

Oooh now you are all excited to have an AR. Usually it's "Why did you sell me this lower Steve? It's all your fault for convincing me to buy this lower. I wouldn't have an AR if you hadn't sold me this lower..." Now it's "I HAVE AN AR WOO!!! :045: "

Not only do I have an AR, but two uppers now. A 1;7, and a 1:9 twist. You are an enabler! :045: Also another 500 rounds of 62 gr enroute. :frust:

Now you have to build a second AR to go with that spare upper

STOP!!!!!! :bruce:

The other day two of the fuckers walked out of the forest and came right up to one of my dogs. I do not have time to hunt them. If anyone is interested let me know.

Why didn't you shoot at least one of them right then?

If it shows up on my property and it's a pest, I shoot it. No questions asked or Fucks given.

They bolted the second I stepped out of my house/trailer.

Just gently slide open a window, poke the barrel out and let 'em have it. No need to go outside except to drag the Carcass back into the woods from whence it came.

supressed 300blk could do wonders.

Active calling will probably get them closer than 50yrds and just hit them with a 420grain goldtip will do the trick too.

Okay... I have a decent collection to choose from, but the 2.5-10x44 scope on the AES makes for quick follow up shots. Steve spotted me up at Hoodsport range where I went through a 20rd mag, pulling the trigger as soon as I heard the clang of the 12" gong at 100 yards from a bench. Not a single miss.

Steve is also a good friend to have and I'm happy to admit that. We've both been there for each other when other people we thought we could rely on let us down.

Also, nice Mustang.

Thanks, it's a 1972 Mach1 with 351C 2v converted to an edelbrock 4v Performer with Holley 650cfm double pumper. I plan on putting an AOD and 4.11:1 posi in it, but that's after I get it on the road again. The short that's causing the positive battery lead to get very hot while the car is off needs to be sorted out first.

I was kidding about Steve. He is good people. I have a good bit of experience with the Cleveland motor. I have built a dozen or so and have done a few AOD conversions. I had a 70 Mercury Cyclone GT for 10 years. It got 17 MPG, would lay two 5 foot black marks, shifting into 2 gear at 35 MPH. Made 400 HP and ran 13 second quarters. Not bad for a 4000 pound car that would idle in Houston traffic when it was 100 degrees out without over heating. Damn I miss that car.
