Best of luck with that! :ROFLMAO:

She doesn't do Bikini's?? Dang it...

Well, what about the rest of the plan?

Powder.... You in?

Sounds good to me. Any activity on Maui needs to be followed up by drinks.

Past Makena, all the way to the end of the road in the sanctuary. A bit dicey getting into the water, but amazing marine life right up to the lava shelfs.

La Perouse Bay area.. Yhea, that's some dicey snorkeling. I wouldn't take my kids out in those waters, but it it regarded as some of the best aquatic scenery in all of Maui. Go a thousand yards south and you can go see the dolphin area too.

The hole in the wall beach is just to the north of this house, 20.6266996,-156.443295 there is minimal parking, but the water is amazing out there. Getting in and out of the spits during larger waves is pretty tough/fun.

We haven't done La Perouse snorkeling but we've been there. The one we did was immediately off the road, small about 15 foot wide sandy section for entry and only road parking just past the "beach". Can be a little shallow around some sections of the coral and we got some scrapes getting out to prove it. On google maps it shows it's just north of Honua Kai Lani, some wedding venue. I told the wife i really want to do La Perouse Bay this time though. It was closed to the public last time we were there. We have done Honolua Bay, Napili Bay and a few others up north.

Steven Tyler's house is behind that wall where you enter the water. Great snorkeling, though that's where that 65 YO woman just got killed by a Shark.

I thought that was the dumps, in between the 2 spots.

I don't really venture out very far. Couple hundred yards max, but i guess they come in close sometimes. I'm only an average swimmer. Wife is a bit more adventurous because she used to be a synchronized swimmer. It's funny cuz i can't get her to climb a mountain using gear, but she'll swim in shark infested waters, haha.

Mashman, you would hate it over there.. Especially during Christmas.. It'll be football season, and we all know how you get during football season.

Wait.. Which house? The one on the water, or the one on the other side of the road?!?

Nice! The hole in the wall is just down from that "curve". Never knew that was Tyler's place... Drove by it plenty of times!

Me neither.

I have been there multiple times over 8 visits to Maui and have never seen that many Hauli's there.

Maui gets 4 Million tourists a year now, icon_eek It's getting crazy.

I intended to retire there, I suspect I may be looking more towards another Island for the quiet I want.

We are on our way Saturday morning. :thumbsup2:

So you've visited so many times we are all Haulis to you? Typically one uses that term if they are at least from there. Guess I'm glad I have never been. Sounds like a very elitist group, you Hawaiian travelers are way better than us.

You condemn him for mass labeling somebody, then turn around and mass label all Hawaiian travelers? :ffight:  :ROFLMAO:

ETA: he didn't call you a Hauli... He called all the "white people / tourists" in the water Haulis. That doesn't mean that he, himself isn't a Hauli as well.
