Lacrosse players in High School, only 2.7% DI and 2.1% DII get recruited with athletic scholarships. (DIII, there is no money for scholarships) Which is very high for all sports in general. http://www.scholarshipstats.com/varsityodds.html
Out of that 2.4% average .005 % actually play professional indoor or outdoor lacrosse after college, and the pay is "supplementary" meaning you need to have a full time job and Lacrosse is just an extra small pay check.
Because of those two facts, Lacrosse students in college have the highest GPA of any NCAA sport across the board.
Because they know there is no "Pro Pay".
