http://www.pilgrimstudios.com/casting/marksmen/History Channel and the producers of “Top Shot” are looking for military, police, sheriff, SWAT and other agency marksmen and snipers with compelling stories of shots that they’ve taken while in service. Maybe you’re a current or former military sniper or precision marksman who succeeded in an extraordinary long or short-range engagement. Maybe you’re a serviceman, federal agent or cop who landed an incredibly accurate shot that saved your life or the lives of others. If you have a memorable tale of marksmanship that served your community or country, then the History Channel wants to know your story. You will also have the opportunity to take part in a precision or sniper-related challenge to WIN A PRIZE! - See more at: http://www.pilgrimstudios.com/casting/m ... 6CMtg.dpuf

Hopefully the prize is a fully kitted out Barrett, or something like that there.

'Top Shot' is for kids. Now if there was a senior-citizen-only spin-off - called 'Shakey Shooters' perhaps - it'd have a hell of a demographic to draw from!

"There I was, at the rifle range. Sweating under the North Carolina sun. The gut truck was nowhere to be seen, and there were targets that needed to be perforated with extreme prejudice. I ignored my thirst for Gatorade and hunger for chicken thighs covered in breading gone soft with grease and, at precisely 300 meters (I knew this because there was a "300" sign at either end of the firing line) I squeezed the trigger and put a massive .224 caliber hole through that black head-and-shoulders target and dropped him instantly. Well, actually, the two Marines in the butts pulled the target and placed a pasty over the hole. I nodded, cracking a slight smile, and prepared for the next tango to appear."
