Sigh...this is depressing.
At least he was off getting drunk on his own time.. hahah
But seriously.. If you're getting drunk, why the hell are you gonna carry around your gun?
Drunk.
Drunk and armed.
Drunk, armed, and operating a vessel.
Drunk, armed, LOSE your firearm, and operate a vessel.
Drunk, now NOT armed because you lost your firearm, operate a vessel, get trapped in low hanging wires.
Drunk, not armed, operate a vessel, get trapped, have firefighters respond when someone sees you passed out.
Drunk, not armed, not operating a vessel, grabbing the officer and threatening to punch him if he doesn't give your gun back, after firefighters clear you.
I see some solid decision making skills right there, glad he was entrusted with our safety... and glad that the agency made the right decision.
Still curious as to why he wasn't charged... we all know any one of us doing the same shit would not only be charged, but probably have the shit beaten out of us for grabbing a cop and telling him that he was gonna get hit..
