Look at the torque. They are getting high numbers with small displacement engines that they wind the shit out of it, and turbos with nothing on the low side… That car will have turbo lag like you wouldn't believe unless it's up around 4000 RPM, just wait Bingo! It's the torque that gets ya off the line!

That's why FWD cars with power always make me laugh. Even if you can put it down you'll probably torque steer into a tree in the first couple hundred yards.

Funny you mention that. Our Flex is AWD but it must have a front bias because the torque steer is crazy on that thing.

My civic makes 315 to the wheels, my friends makes 650 and another is a world record car, we don't know what torque steer is.

Well since I started this thread I guess I'll weigh in on what I like about the 2016 Camaro. So far, all I've seen is the majority comparing the V6 vs V8 with very little about the 4cyl. I know some have made comments but those have drifted off into the fields and somehow aren't relating to the new car at hand. (IMO) So... I'm intrigued about this 4cyl offering. I don't want to get into the debate of 4 vs 8 etc. I just think that with that 4 being offered it would do me well in that car. Again... this is just what I would get.

Or you could put a supercharger on it and make a real car out of it. I'm kidding, just calm down.

If you want a turbo 4 banger in your musclecar, check out the Mustang. 310hp/320 lb-ft torque is more than what the Camaro offers.
And then get your head checked because you are interested in a car that has half the cylinders than it is supposed to have. :)
