Why are they issuing cards with $500-$2000 limits? Can't get in nearly enough trouble with that.

There's been a couple times I've been tempted at cabelas. Last time I was in they had a glock 24 in the gun library for $450. Nothing I'd ever need a credit card to buy in desperation though.

Credit cards are for customers who want me to order $7k in material for them but can't be hassled to make a deposit in an expedient manner.

I started out with at 10K limit a couple years ago, then they upped it even more. Only use it once in a while. For a while was disappointed they stopped the military discount. May go back, but never in a hurry when there sale prices are in line with normal prices everywhere else.

The funny thing about it, is its a regular visa credit card..

9.9% interest rate for cabelas purchases and 20% for "Other Purchases"

but I earn better points with my american express.
