Washington woman says she was ‘well within her rights’ to shoot at husband for not doing chores Quote: Police have charged a Marysville, Washington woman with attempted second degree murder after she admitted shooting at her husband because she was frustrated that he had not helped around the house. KOMO reported that the husband told 911 dispatchers on Saturday night that his wife, Starlene Roth, had fired a shot at him. When police contacted the man, he told them that he had recently been discharged from the hospital for hepatitis, and his wife became angry because “he hadn’t been able to do anything around the house.” According to the man’s story, the wife threw a vase at him on Saturday night, and then pushed over their barbeque as he was cleaning up the glass. When he picked up the barbeque, she pushed it over again, he said. The man told police that he was inside the home when his wife retrieved a Smith & Wesson 9 MM pistol from the bedroom. “Get the (expletive) out of the house,” the man recalled Roth saying. This is a bad case of PMS. Only reason it's called PMS is "Mad Cow Disease" was already taken.
OK, old, bad joke but it's appropriate. I live in Marysville and can tell you that there are a lot more like this broad living here. Luckily, not in my neighborhood. This guy should start CARRYING that 9mm pistol rather than leaving it unlocked in the bedroom.
