WUT? What if I am looking for a Paul Stevens? He's a local gunsmith, maybe I need his contact info so I can buy a gun off of him. It's then wrong to post PUBLIC INFORMATION on that?

From where I'm sitting, it looks like y'all are just airing out the name of a private citizen for everyone to see. If it was me, I'd be pissed. Well, we don't know. And anybody with Google can see the info that was posted by just typing in the name. I didn't post up anything that wasn't completely available to all. But, I do think a story is needed from the OP. I highly doubt it's just as easy as "I might want to buy a gun from him", because if that was the case, then it would have been pretty innocent to mention that in the OP.

Yup, I would be upset, but that's also life on the grid. Looking at what was also posted by the OP, he's looking for personal and legal reasons. So, if somebody had a personal / legal reason to find me then why is the public domain off limits?

If you call it will go to voicemail, I screen my calls and dont answer calls from numbers unknown to me. All of the above info (except phone number i think) is publicly available from the county because I bought a house. If someone wants to get that I'm sure they could get it too. I wouldn't recommend showing up unannounced, my German Shepherd doesn't like guests and I am a bit of a misanthrope with a large collection of "wireless defensive devices".

We live in a world where our contact and other info is bought and sold and largely publicly available. I chose to not worry about it and go on living my life.

Yes it sucks, but we are in the age of technology and easy access to everything.....including personal info.
