I wish I knew it was only the Brazilian models. I loved my 24/7, and sent it in. They sent me a new G2 version which I hated.

If you watch Tim from Military Arms Channel on YouTube, he will state that you NEVER put a metal brush in your barrel. Ever. Leave the copper/carbon and at most use a nylon brush.

I've been taught totally different: nylon bristles absorb abrasive particles and will eventually ruine the bore.

This. Been doing it for years. I mean there are some hard bronzes that could scratch some steels but not the commercial brass brushes.
