Looks like there is hope for Seattle after all. My only question about/for Greg Hamilton is this...

As a Marine, I have no idea how the army works but how can one be both a Green Beret and Army Ranger?
Can one serve x amout years as a Army Ranger and then transfer over to a Special Forces Unit and serve x years as a Green Beret?

I know a few Marines who attended Ranger School and earned/received their "Ranger Tab" but does that make them Rangers?
I thought you had to serve in a Ranger BN...same goes with the Green Berets...does a "Special Forces Tab" make you a Green Berets? If you one is both a Green Beret and Army Ranger is your beret half green and half tan?

Quick answer is yes, he could have been both.

I know a guy who was at 2nd Ranger Batt., moved on to 3rd Special Forces Group and from there to Delta.

Lot more to it, but I don't have a beer in my hand and did not start this with, "No shit, there I was."
