Heading on a camping trip near there soon (KOA in concrete). Never been so what should we do/see, also whats not worth the time? We'll be there for 3 nights and going with kids 3 & 6 plus old people.

Well, you'll only be 7 miles from the Medford Pit, so I'd say bring a couple guns and have a day at the range! :AR15firing: :thumbsup2:

You can also head out farther to Newhalem and the Seattle City Light Power plant/lake complex.

Ross lake boat tour and "Dam Good Chicken Dinner" is also something to do.

Tons of hiking everywhere. Sauk Mountian is cool. The Dams further up 20 are nice and easy for kids and old people. Trail of lights or whatever they call it in newhalum is supposed to be cool. Lots of tweakers, so bring concealed. Must people won't mess with you in public areas but I have ran in to some shady mofos in middle of nowhere up there.

Baker lake is a must, bring a boat and fishing gear.
Sockeye fishing is great right now.
Depression lake by the damn for trout if you don't have a boat.
Lots of hiking and scenery up there.
Hot springs if you dare.
Either way it's great up there.

That area sucks. The whole area sucks. There are no fish, and nothing to see. Keep away at all costs. Pierce County is where you need to go.
