MPLS police in spotlight AGAIN after questionable shooting

Mon Jul 17, 2017 5:20 pm

This time.... An officer shot an unarmed woman, who was in her pajamas, in her own driveway, while he was inside his vehicle, and shot ACROSS his partner.
Justine Damond (...) was in her pajamas speaking with a police officer who was in the driver’s seat of a police vehicle that responded to her call when the officer in the passenger side allegedly “pulled his gun and shot Damond through the driver’s side door,”

WTF.

BOTH of the officers body cams were reportedly off, as was the dash cam..

Lemme get this straight... ALL 3 of the cameras that are supposed to be on, on every call, were off? Fuck that shit.

The cop who shot her, despite only being on the force for 2 years, already has a pending FEDERAL complaint for previous conduct. Why was he still on the streets?!

500 fatal shootings by police in the United States this year

The year is only half over. We need to restrict killing by the government to executioners after a trial and conviction.

Investigators are looking into whether other video of the shooting exists, the BCA statement said.

Nobody else has video = "she had an assault rifle strapped to her leg, and was in a yoga stance, pointing her leg at them."

Someone else has video = "um, yeah, we have no explanation for that video, but the officer thought she was going to shoot him with her finger."

Were I the other officer in the car, and he shot across me, like that, he'd accidentally fall on the curb a couple dozen times before backup arrived...

And THEN I'd do everything in my power to make sure his ass ended up in prison.

Yoga lives matter. Rev. Jackson won't complain since she is white. Only non-white people deserve a riot.

Noor’s partner, identified as Matthew Harrity, was allegedly “stunned” when Noor opened fire, KARE11 reported through a source.

Fucking lawyer made a statement....

The current environment for police is difficult, but Officer Noor accepts this as part of his calling.

Fucking great....

I can't wait for the 'everyone is out to kill us and I thought she was gonna kill my partner so I had a split second to make a decision' bullshit to start...

KTSP reported that Damond was shot multiple times

Sweet. Shoot until you stop the (non) threat..... Through a door.... Across your partner... Sounds legit.

Again, dude has 2 years and already has a federal complaint.. And apparently 3 total complaints. 2 of which are still 'open' and under investigation. Why the fuck was he on the streets?

We don't know shit about this incident. Don't be like the media . . . don't rush to judgment without knowing a damned thing about what happened.

For every one of these incidents there are 1000's of good deeds done by PD's all over the Nation that happen with zero news coverage. This is sad and extremely tragic no doubt. But when all we hear is how bad the police are on a daily basis, it paints an unfair picture of those who are doing fantastic jobs on the daily.

That's the kind of attitude that will prevent you from ever working for CNN or ABC/CBS/NBC. :cussing:

Shouldn't you be asking why there are so many incidents?

Ding, Ding we have a winner. The anti-gun people only hear the bad stuff. Can we really blame them? MSM only publishes bad things that happen with guns, especially if the recipient is not white. :blackcloud1:

That's a finger you don't want to start pointing.
