Nick Chastellaine, whose girlfriend was the one who took the bag, told CBC she intended to turn it over to police.

Chastellaine wasn't in the truck, but his girlfriend, cousin and friend were three of the four occupants. He said he spoke to them afterward, and they told him they opened the bag to see if there was anything inside to identify the owner.

To me it seems like there has been a lot of theft, and someone set them up with a little gift. It's easy enough to look online to build a real bomb, if someone wanted to blow a store up.

The comparison to a soldier picking up an IED is plain asinine. You would think the difference would be obvious. And to your point, YES, I am fine with calling it justice. Your terrorist attack theory is at this point just that. It is no different than tweaker thieves stealing wiring from high voltage equipment or services. You get fried, tough shit. You shouldn't be a thief.

The terrorists that built the pressure cooker bombs left them on the ground at the Boston Marathon. Obviously that's bad. But if somebody had picked up the package and tried to steal them, then when they went off, you guys would think they got what was coming to them?
