2020 election predictions

Yeah, it's early but the hive keeps bringing up new people that want or are planning to run in the 2020 prezidential race.
...or have we?

So far, it's been all about the D's jumping in early.
Will anyone here go out on a limb and predict a Republican contender in 2020?

There are enough brain dead, (sorry McCain), ego stoked asses that are fighting Trump every day that I think it could happen.

I think the current problem with both sides is too many members are too old. The 'good ol' boys club' is something I think folks are getting tired of. Even Hillary was of this type of government. I think both sides need to get younger, and the right needs to get out of the pocket of the church. Too often are decisions made based on their faith instead of what their constituency wants. By all means enjoy your religion, but don't let it affect how you are making decisions that needs to have some separation.

I think the left is scrambling to find someone who will play to a large votership. But I think the left is very divided among old Democrat and a progressive Democratic movement. Unless they can get someone who can play to most people they will be fighting each other.

As for the right, Trumps policies need to make hay, and he has a long road to hoe if he wants to win over more voters for a second term. I don't think there are any GOP folks who would be strong enough to run against Trump if he goes for a second term. Plus which GOP member is standing out as good leadership material?

I'm sure it will be a year or two before the waters settle and candidates start really making a push and rising to the top of conversations.
