FYI: This is the plot to Barbershop 3. It didn't work in the movie, and with 600 people out of 621,000 signed up, I would be sceptical. It would be great if it worked though

It lasted 15 min into the weekend. As per the BPD facebook page:
Western District Shooting Investigation
On July 22, 2017, at about 12:15 a.m., police were called to the 2600 block of Arunah Avenue for a reported shooting.
Once at the scene, officers observed a 25 year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
Citywide Shooting detectives were summoned and assumed control of the investigation.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Citywide Shooting detectives, at 410-396-2221.
Those who wish to remain anonymous can utilize the Metro Crime Stoppers tip line, at 1-866-7LOCKUP.

Deconstructing the thought process here, can't they just bus all the 'bangers out to Six Flags? It's only about 30 miles away and it's pretty fun. Probably cheaper than getting residents to foot the ER bills they've been racking up this year, too.
