http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/2016 ... rring-lakeAtlanta Falcons receiver Julio Jones recently took a tumble off a Jet Ski, and when he emerged from the lake waters, he was missing something.
One of his diamond earrings, reportedly valued at about $150,000, had fallen out.
So the All-Pro receiver hired a dive team to scour Georgia's Lake Lanier to recover the lost jewelry, according to a report by WXIA-TV in Atlanta.
Divers, who went as far down as 65 feet, came up empty-handed on Tuesday, WXIA reported.

Meh, he doesn't seem too concerned and at least he was enjoying wearing them. Sitting on the bottom of a lake giving the owner no enjoyment or sitting in a dark safe giving the owner no enjoyment, the result isn't much different. As long as he doesn't care about the lost $ then it appears he's living life exactly the way he wants to.

He should hire the diver who found my wedding band in 30 feet of water off Ala Moana Beach Park. Guy found another gold ring, too, and he was only down there for 32 minutes.

Those guys are pros. When your entire living is based off finding tiny objects in shifting sand, you get pretty good at it. Plus, does anyone have happier customers? If I lost my wedding ring in the surf and one of the divers found it, no one would have a bigger shit-eatin' grin on their face than me while forking over the recovery fee.

Ages hence, two young fellows out fishing will find the ear ring, one murders the other and is banished from his tribe...

Just because you play pro football, it doesn't mean you are smart. Some of them are dumber than a railroad spike.
