One thing about Trump, he keeps us guessing.............

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/28/us/p ... trump.html

Convinced that Mr. Priebus was not strong enough, Mr. Trump has been talking about bringing in “a general” as chief of staff and chose John F. Kelly, the retired Marine four-star general serving as secretary of homeland security. But some of his advisers oppose that idea, arguing that Mr. Trump needs someone more in tune with the nationalist political movement that helped propel him to the White House.

I am pleased to inform you that I have just named General/Secretary John F Kelly as White House Chief of Staff. He is a Great American....

...and a Great Leader. John has also done a spectacular job at Homeland Security. He has been a true star of my Administration

I always figured he picked Reince because he was a conduit to the Pubs that were against Trump during the campaign.
Now that Trump can't get anything passed, his usefulness is done.

I'm not sure that all the gridlock in WA DC isn't a bad thing. The harder it is to get laws through Congress, the fewer laws we'll have added to the books. The Economy will just do what it's always done, live a life of it's own.

Would be interesting if the Democrat's intransigence, refusing to actually participate in any bi-partisan effort to solve issues, comes back to bit them in the ass come the mid-term elections. Voting a few more out of office might well stop the logjam. On that note there are a few Republicans that need to be replaced as well.

One thing about Trump, he's in the job for the next 3 plus years and won't have to worry about kissing ass so he can get a cushy job on the talk circuit when out of office. Nothing happens overnight so it's going to be fun watching what happens over the next year.

To me, Trump reminds me of an old mechanic I once knew. Had a vehicle that he just couldn't get to run right. One day he took it out in the back parking lot, put a brick on the accelerator pedal, closed the door and walked off. When it blew up he put a new engine in under warranty. Maybe that's Trump's strategy. Run things full throttle until it blows then start fresh.

FWIW, every President starts out with a cabinet and staff that is made up of people who are being rewarded for their support during the election. Trump is now using his favorite TV phrase----"You're Fired". That is one way to cut off the news media's "unofficial sources".

The Trump Clown show goes on. Priebus never fit with Trumps lowlifes anyway. He's a politician, through and through. His criminal skilz were lacking. That Mooch guy is a real piece of work. I'm sure the new guy will love having to work with him.

Stock market up over 3,400 points since the election, over 15% gain in retirement accounts for any one who has one. Have you seen your 401K statement this month?

over 880,000 new jobs since January 20.

illegal border crossings down about 65% - 75% since January 20.

food stamp use by those not authorized to get them, down about 20%.

Please, if this is a Clown Show, then by all means, more Clown Show.
