 10 digit dialing required in Western WA starts Saturday

I don't see the big deal. I've moved around a bit but kept my cell number the same so I've always had to dial all 10. Is dialing the extra 3 numbers going to be that big of a time suck?

I remember being a kid visiting my grandparents in Montana. They only did 4 digits, but doing all 7 still worked.

Party lines anyone?
