You could join up and find out for yourself. Or the CO could take the bolt group out of your carbine and stick you in supply.

But seriously, smaller countries are affected the most. England, Germany, France....they lost a shit ton of young men in the first half of the last century from both World Wars. Then, they imported cheap labor to fill their post war factories. Look what good it did them.

Aren't there clear genetic changes that occurred in WWI due to trench warfare? I could swear I read someplace that the average height of the French male dropped like a rock due to the war.
