Voting - King County Executive

Finally got around to voting today and had a WTF moment in reading about the King County Executive candidates:
Goodspaceguy - loon who is a perennial candidate for some office in the state. I can get behind his free market ideals but the dude is kind of whacko....kind of like Rene's favorite, Vermin Supreme.
Dow Constantine - we all know how much he's loved around here
Bill Hirt - his voter guide submission expressly says he's only running to bring visibility to his anti train blog and does not want to win office
Stan Lippmann - another whacko who wants to visualize maglev trains and solar farms because that's how social reality is constructed
Damn...

No, no, no...
In order to get more votes you have to cater to the tards side.
"I'm a gay tax loving liberal who will do everything I can to bring everyone a fair and balanced way of life."
Then after you get elected, revert back to your 100% conservative Make America Great Again side.

+1 for Goodspaceguy!
Get rid of special interests, spend within our means!
Goodspaceguy does what is right no matter how it plays out to the media and voters.
https://ballotpedia.org/GoodspaceguyAre we content to live with Dow Constantine and his financial backers?
BTW, to run for elected office in WA state, you must register in Olympia and as a fee, submit 1% of the annual salary,
which is 1% of 200K, which is $2000 just for the privilege of running for this spot.
Goodspaceguy like him or hate him, at the very least wants to put out a new message and not have crooks in office. And it comes at a price.

WTF you have to pay to be on the ballot? I was thinking of running for my City Council. Low cost. No ads, no flyers, no nothing. Just a statement in the voter handbook.

Damn, I was going to run for Seattle under the name Trump suckkks. I'd get so many votes and wouldn't have to spend a dime, then I'd be in office the whole time telling chicken shawrma to sit down and shut the fuck up because you are a God damn idiot, and asking the other morons why their faces look like they are covered in shit. I bet I could get them to want to brawl with me. It would be glorious

If you read Bill Hirt's voter pamphlet statement, this is exactly what he is doing.

I kind of like GoodSpaceGuy --- but I wrote in a candidate. Several of my friends wrote me in, which was kind of funny.
Remember this is to pick the two people who'll be on the November ballot.
I've been very vocal in public forums opposing several things Constantine has done, especially his terrible budget proposal.
He's very very slick.
Here's a little PS that the Stranger wrote in their endorsement of Constantine. I can't get over his political ambition.
P.S. Dear readers: Yeah, yeah. Dow Constantine is a political climber who probably touches himself in his swimsuit area when he thinks about moving into the governor's mansion in Olympia. But what's wrong with that? Don't we want politicians whose policies we support to climb to higher office? And, yes, Dow's "swoop of silky hair," as we wrote in our last endorsement issue, deserves at least half of the credit for his accomplishments. But the guy (and his swoopy hair) gets shit done.
