Cedar and sage tied up together as a smudge stick can be bought ready to go - light one end up like a cigar, and walk through each room and closet in the house, carrying it to, and blowing or waving the smoke into all of the corners. It cleanses and purifies the home.

No ghosts are getting shot. I cleared the house only because of the noise then the smoke detector going off I thought there could be someone outside cutting wires hoping to disable an alarm.
