Seattle Mayor conspired to hide negative min wage study

A new report by the Washington Free Beacon blows the lid off of the already highly suspect story of the City of Seattle's two conflicting minimum wage reports. Through a Freedom of Information Act request, WFB had a chance to review emails between Seattle's Democratic Mayor Ed Murray, a big wig union PR firm, and the supposedly "unbiased" research team at University of California, Berkeley headed up by Michael Reich. The Free Beacon found egregious collusion between the three to squash clear evidence that the city's minimum wage policy was hurting workers.

Of course.... Not surprising but...

How can this shit get fixed? The corruption in todays gov't is just insane.... Blatantly obvious...and nothing is being done..

It's because We the People don't want to do anything about it. You and I do, of course, but the majority of people really don't give a shit. Voter apathy enables government corruption.

While Seattle certainly is a cesspit and it's tempting to ignore it, eventually what starts in Seattle filters down to Olympia or to the statewide ballot box.

Nick Hanauer, one of the main pushers pf the Seattle wage law, threatened to run a $20 minimum wage in 2020, just because Olympia wouldn't approve a $15 wage at the exact moment he demanded it.

Seattle doesn't mind if their Mayor played around with runaway little boys in his bedroom and paid them afterwords for their sex work.

So burying a negative study that doesn't back their utopian wet dreams?

C'mon man.

Seattle doesn't really want fair government. As long as the candidates are for abortion and butt sex and have that (D), good to go.
