Pretty impressive for a guy who "sucks", even though the stat line a certain individual is commenting on is inaccurate.  leadcounsel wrote: Wilson with 3 picks, nearly a 4th on the final play. He sucks. Go Hawks

I mean in 1979 Joe Montana was drafted in the third round and he has four rings, three Super Bowl MVPs, and two NFL MVPs.

Salary cap era (Current) vs Non Salary cap era (80's-90's)
BIG difference when you can openly spend as much money as you want on players with no cap like you could back then, compared to today where everyone is tied to the same budget.

Make a claim as best third round pick ever and complain about the response. Okay but at least Montana can say he never lost a Super Bowl by throwing a pick. For two reasons he never lost a Super Bowl and he never threw a pick in one.

Mike is right, Wilson's resume is not as accomplished as Montana's, period. Montana holds the title, but I think Wilson can get there.

Montana never faced 6'3" corners that are track speed fast, or 275lb LB's and DL's that can run a fast 40 time either.
