My uncle has had a tough time at life. He had diabetes at a young age, eventually had to get a double transplant, so he's got one of my mom's kidneys and a donor pancreas. For most of his adult life he's been a cook (Mustard Seed in Spokane) and thankfully his employer has been understanding & supportive through all the treatments, checkups, procedures, and hospitalizations. He's now on his third hip replacement, and in the middle of it all, now he's been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. After radiation and chemo, he went into surgery today to remove most of his esophagus and some of his stomach along with it. He's the kindest and most easygoing guy in the world, and all he wants to do is sit on the lake and fish. Nobody could be less deserving of this ailment.
Fuck cancer.

I've lost a few family members to that mother fucker called cancer.
Your uncle must be an incredible person to survive the trials he's been through. My thoughts and prayers to him and keep up the good fight!
