They hopped the huge water truck up on the sidewalk and sprayed all that filth into the storm drain..

I like how they sprayed about 500 gallons of water on the grass. Be awhile before that dries out. They are already setting back up.

Failed people, failed parents, failed schools, failed healthcare, and a broken society. How do you fix this mess? This is so many streets in so many cities. Probably millions of people live this way. Too far gone to fix, and probably need hundreds of thousands of dollars per person in treatments.
Do you let them rot and die? Do you spent valuable resources fixing them from their self-created mess? Do you let them continue to be an eyesore, public nuisance, and safety hazard to the general tax paying population? Do you put them in mental hospitals involuntarily? Jail them? And at what financial costs?
The take away, if you have kids, force them to watch this and understand this is the glamour of drug use. Every person there tried it just once. It's time to stop that practice. The more spent to help the homeless here in the PNW, the more homeless migrate here. At some point Darwinism needs to be allowed to run it's course. In Everett, set aside a piece of land down along the river, fence it, and let the homeless set up camp there. Put a row of dumpsters and shithouses down the main traffic lane through the camp and empty as needed. If found camping out elsewhere in Everett, they get picked up and dropped inside the gate at the "Camp". It's totally ridiculous to allow a whole sub society to foul the city at will and even more ludicrous to think that spending money on the problem will fix it. FWIW, I have a grandson that got hooked on "Oxy". He finally got kicked out of the house after he stole and pawned just about everything he could before Mom and Dad said "enough". He ended up hanging out right where the Everett Tweaker Cam is located. One day he decided he hated the life and cleaned up. Took a while but he now has a good job and is supporting himself. All the while the family was helping him he just kept on with his habit. Once cut loose to fend for himself he made a more positive choice. For a good number of these people the readily available assistance, even SSI payments from the government, merely enable their addictions and they see no reason to change. WE are the only ones that smell their filth, to them it's just "normal". Sounds cruel but it's no different than watering a field full of weeds. The weeds just flourish and grow more. Cut off the water and eventually they die off.

No thanks. I wouldn't want more garbage going into that river. That and again, you are catering to their needs by providing crappers.

even the LEO rolled thru WTF!! Would YOU want to get stuck next to this? I think the guy who set up the webcam is the same business owner who's been begging the city to deal with this problem for something like 2 solid years. All of his employees carry to work out of fear for their safety. His customer base is dwindling because no one wants to come into the area. I don't know what the longer-term solution is to chronic homelessness and addiction, but letting junkies turn entire city blocks into favelas is not a good plan.

Sounds like it's being covered on the local news today. When the city council and mayor start getting calls from angry constituents, they are gonna have to shut it down.

http://komonews.com/news/local/man-behi ... -steam-cam“We’ll be adding five more, high definition cameras and it be part of a 24 hours-a-day live streaming YouTube channel called Tweakerville USA,” said Gary Watts, owner of Z Sport Automotive. “We will run that channel on this particular location as long as it takes in order to change things in Everett, Washington,” Watts added. The live comments on Youtube are fucking hilarious! Like watching Mystery Science Theater. But funnier.

In 1997 through 1998, anywhere that had a bus stop in Everett was a magnet for crack dealers and the cheap houses and apartments near by were filled with drunks and the crack users. The cops would try to swarm the areas on occasion, but the dealers and criminals just jumped the buses and split. I believe it increased when I think it was Pierce County or Tacoma decided they would not ask for non-felony warrant holders to be sent back to them if caught outside their jurisdiction. We had a sudden influx of dirt bags up here as the word got out.

New improved HD version with nighttime lighting.
Looks like a sunny day at midnight.
Anyone missing a bicycle, it's probably here.
Cleanup starts Wed AM at 8am.
