Getting calls from my own number

Phone: Samsung Note 4
Carrier: AT&T
Service provider: Straight Talk (changing next week)

Problem:
Within the last two days and twice this morning, I've missed the calls.
I looked at the number it's from and it's MY number.

How can I get a call from myself????

Has it happened to anyone else here?

I did restart the phone before the last missed call.

I'm stumped on this.

I have a Verizon Galaxy S7 that I just got about a month ago. I had the same thing happen to me about 3-4 days after I activated the phone, two missed calls, both from my phone number.

There are several scams involving spoofed phone numbers.
Not hard to do.

At one of my crime-fighter seminars the speaker pre programmed his computer with the cell phone numbers from the attendee list.
Few key strokes and mouse clicks and he had the whole room getting multiple phone calls and text messages that said they originated from themselves and other people in the room.
