Not surprising given that they allow illegals to obtain driver's licenses combined with the Motor Voter program for automatic voter registration of driver's license recipients. A corrupt system guaranteed to ensure padding of the voter rolls with minorities heavily favoring the Democrats.
I say time to nullify California's participation in the electoral college until they can prove that their voter registration system and rolls conform to federal law.
We have ample precedent that individual states are not allowed to secede unilaterally due to force majeure of the federal government. Why not hold a constitutional convention of the states and vote to eject California from the Union? AFAIK, the VP has discretion to not certify electors from any given state if he finds problems or irregularities. If memory serves, Rutherford B Hayes did that to Florida's electors to make himself President. Hayes wasn't Vice-President so no he didn't do that. There was a deal struck where he won the electoral college in exchange for pulling troops out of the Southern States. Ah you are correct, thank you.

Data matters. Where is this data coming from?
What is the process for purging registration roles? I know I'm registeted in two cities (both in Alameda county) and get an not even a resident of the state.

Why am I ever so doubtful that crooked thieves of legitimate votes, corrupters of the republic, destroyers of democracy - will pay a price for their crimes? We are overdue for some heads to roll. Mike, we can as members here only point out the disfunction and criminality in the system. Honestly, I am torn. On one hand, you have the right to be disappointed there is not yet legal action against them, but you are also smarter than that! The crooks have the money and control most of the press! It ain't gonna be easy. Keep the faith, and keep your powder dry! ;-)

I have been hanging around here for several years and I can't count easily the number of times that a member of the previous administration was going down momentarily... that sure evidence was at hand, here comes the subpoena, and then.... Finally a crook is gonna get some jail time! So my humor is more about my willingness to accept predictions and start counting on them. Confirmation Bias was mentioned recently... It is the tendency to interpret new evidence as confirmation of one's existing beliefs or theories. More than Confirmation Bias turns into wishful thinking... We don't even need evidence to support our Wishes. People believe things because they WANT them to be true. The 33,000 emails thingy... ?! How are she and several of her cronies still breathing free air? That's unbelievable to me! So what the last several years have done for me is turn me into a pessimist in regards to the application of laws between us regular joes and those Joes up in .Gov. We came within a hair's breadth of an outright blatant condescending criminal as POTUS. I want Clinton in a deep cell where it seems clear that she deserves to be. And even if that were to finally happen my confidence in the future is dimmed by the knowledge that over 50% (maybe) of the electorate voted for her.

Also saw my dad's name (he's dead) and my brothers name (he's Canadian) still on the rolls.
Names on registration rolls is one thing but the actual votes are something else.

Names on registration rolls is one thing but the actual votes are something else. Excellent point... My assumption was that the 144% was so high that surely there must have been illegal shenanigans. It makes sense to wait for more information. Sporkboy's info also reinforces the need for better voter registration verification... I like the idea of only in-person voting. Screw that "by mail" method. That's just guaranteed fraud at some level or another.

Names on registration rolls is one thing but the actual votes are something else. The problem is with them still on the voter rolls they can vote and because they were still registered it clears a lot of barriers and investigative thresholds. If you doubt that then consider 1960 and Chicago Mayor Daley and his contribution to the Kennedy campaign. Even the Washington Compost admits what happened. https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/ ... 9ef03a1ec1

And even if that were to finally happen my confidence in the future is dimmed by the knowledge that over 50% (maybe) of the electorate voted for her. Of course you were kidding. While the 33,000 emails, all those recipes, baby pictures, party invitations, and emails to Chelsea mysteriously disappeared, if we believe her that was all innocent. Of course never mind the hundreds of Classified emails found just last week on Huma's computer, sent by Hillary. What, didn't see that on CNN either? What frosts me even more is the $500,000 Bill Clinton got for a 40 minute speech in 2010 from a Russian Bank, Putin connected, and supposedly Putin even shook Bill's hand for coming. In 2009, his speaking fee, 8 years out of office, was down to $100,000 or less. Suddenly Hillary is Sec of State and Bill gets rich from a Russian Bank. I mean, c'mon.
