Now we have to pay for the medical bills, court costs and prison stay.

I was working in bar, and we had an elderly patron in a back brace who came in every day for a couple of beers.

He went to the bathroom, and a couple young punks followed him in. They did not come out.

They tried to rob him at knife point. He took the knife away, and fkd them up. In a back brace, mind you.

Turns out he was an original bad ass, special ops unit WWII.

Gas is about $2.00/gallon here at the moment with prices as low as $1.85 in places. It was under $2/gallon for quite a bit of the early summer. On the road trip we went on in June those were pretty typical prices until we got to the coastal states.

When the punk came back to pick up his gun, he should have gotten a bullet in the head just based on principles of self-defense. The saved money and hassle would just be a bonus.
