Ironically CA state law might protect him as well as the fact he made an NLRB filing prior (I think?) to his firing. It is illegal to "retaliate" for an NLRB filing.

What is most important is this guy is fired because of his political beliefs.
And Google as a corporation supports it. F = Facebook A = Apple N = Netflix G = Google FANG Companies are a hotbed of Leftist Globalism and anti-Freedom viewpoints - believe the official line or you are subject to being shunned by your fellow workers, outed for your political beliefs, and fired. Hobby Lobby never fired anyone for supporting abortion, or any of their political beliefs. Google DID FIRE a good employee SPECIFICALLY FOR their political beliefs. See how that works? Hypothetical compared to actual. |
