do you ever post about guns, or is it all just political?

How about addressing his point and not making it personal?

What if I write a Open Letter to the members of WAGUNS, stating my personal views, lack of confidence in the leadership, its morally bankrupt members, while calling out a few specific people for the garbage they constantly post? Do you think I'll get a vacation or win the jackpot at the annual holiday giveaway?

My point remains. If it was hobby lobby or some other right wing place, he'd be cheering.
The personal question remains as well.

If it is important to you, why not try and find out?

My guess is that you would have a hell of a lot better chance than that Google employee.

Did you peruse what the Google guy actually wrote? It wasn't very controversial.

My personal belief is that any censorship, short of immediate harm to people ("fire" in a crowded theater), is anti-Constitutional.

The more that you say, the better chance I know what you really think and what is important to you.

This Google example is the opposite, purge anyone who doesn't drink the Koolaid.

I answered your Hobby Lobby example earlier.

Hobby Lobby, unlike Google, did not fire someone because of political beliefs.

As for your political question, two things.

I have posted about guns many times and will continue to do so.

Why do I post the political? Easy. Because ultimately, that is the reason the 2nd Amendment exists. The only time in my life that we as a society are close to collapsing was 1968-69, and we are IMO closer to that than at any time since. Proof? Look at the historically high sales of firearms over the last decade. With Trump winning, look at the anti-gun left arming themselves in record numbers. That isn't me talking, that is millions of my fellow citizens spending hundreds, or thousands of dollars to get armed. Do you think it is for hunting? You aren't that naive, are you?

You're projecting that onto him, which is unfair. But, more importantly, you're deflecting from the main issue here. Instead of talking about the Google situation, you're deflecting to Hobby Lobby, and a hypothetical situation at that. It's petty, irrelevant, and illogical. How about telling us what you think about the story in the OP?

Whether hobby lobby did or did not is not the point.
1st amendment rights don't exist in private companies or private forums. That's just a fact.
The last decade has been the pro gun people buying. the left only started buying after Trump got elected, and the numbers are way below what the pro gun people (not right or left) have been doing for the last decade. I probably have spent 50k on guns/ammo/reloading in the last 5 years myself.

It's standard procedure for any large company, especially when it is a controversial topic. First amendment rights don't exist in private companies and forums.
In my view, he brought it on himself. He "Jerry Maguired" himself out of a job. I do find it humorous to be honest, especially the reaction here.
The reaction I see here is pure hypocrisy in my opinion.

Society is closer to collapsing when compared the late 60's?

OOOOOOOOOH SNAP! :runforthehills:

Let's see here. I can whistle at a white woman and not get killed. Actually I married two of them and no one cared. I can freely buy and make guns without being concerned about the Klan showing up. I go out hunting with white folks and don't have to be concerned about not coming up from a neck tie party. I'm doing better financially and professionally than 90% of my family was at the same age and time of their lives.

Nah. We're doing just fine.

Only the first can be remotely construed as being "about guns" in a recreational/nonpolitical sense. Keep looking!

7.
Computers. an object, as text or graphics, linked through hypertext to a document, another object, etc.

You asked for one, I gave you 5. You admitted at least one was correct. Are you now asking for more than 1?

No, I did not admit that. Was "remotely construed" unclear? Clue: It's tangentially related, but not directly. So, keep trying.
