Nope. What I should have said was "non political" posts about guns. Ammo cufflinks are not guns. None of those are non political gun posts. With that in mind, can you find any? I bet not.

No, in reality what you "should" have done was not make a personal attack against him, I was simply demonstrating that your statement about him was misleading, even by your own recent admission.

How about we just be civil and stick to discussing points and when debates ensue we don't make it personal?

The last decade has been the pro gun people buying. the left only started buying after Trump got elected, and the numbers are way below what the pro gun people (not right or left) have been doing for the last decade. I probably have spent 50k on guns/ammo/reloading in the last 5 years myself.

You missed my entire point.

People don't spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on something "just because". Now you and I spend money on guns, ammo, and accessories because we want to. We like guns. But the anti-Trumpers and leftists? Have they suddenly become gun enthusiasts? Virtually none of them have.

They are buying guns for defense purposes. It is because they fear their future, rationally or irrationally. But their actions are real, and the hundreds of dollars they never thought they would have used to buy a gun are real dollars that in previous years would have been spent on something else. Leftists buying guns in quantity is a radical action, IMO, not previously witnessed at least in my lifetime. Why is it happening?

Hence the real reason for the 2A, the left is just starting to figure out what we have known since we are kids about guns. Yes hunting and target practice, but also protection.

50k in 5 years? See, some leftists would say you are a menace to society and need to be rooted out for the good of society.

I would say you have a better collection than I have and I am envious.

Personally, I get really uncomfortable whenever someone states that everything should be numerically equitable between sexes, races, etc. If Google has 40% female employees (I'm making that up), should 40% of the management be female? Same with race, religion, etc.?

If 40% of our population is black, should black folks get 40% of the speeding tickets and 40% of the homicide arrests, no more and no less?

There ARE differences between people, whether it's genetic, or due to the way we live, or whatever. We're never going to be exactly equal. Thus, I hate it when it's implied that we're doing something wrong as a culture when something is disproportional. Disproportionate salary/arrests/whatever might indicate that there's something worth looking at, but in itself isn't fundamentally wrong.

We are all different. Some fuqers have hair until the are really old. Over 40 even.
