Do you know that NK has a battery of howitzers on the border aimed at SK? I think their targets are only 25 miles away. We can't take those out and all the mobile missile trucks that he keeps moving around.
If we do take out one or more of his nukes, will they go off when hit?
Sure, we can do a lot of damage there but SK is fucked, probably Japan too.

Imagine if the NY-Slimes did a story about how Roosevelt was "worse" than Hitler. Given that some estimates of NK's death toll over the years is in the millions this is pretty damn insane. Technically there is still a war between us which was never called off with a formal peace treaty, only paused by an armistice.

This idea bothers me, too . . . not just with NK but with other countries too. But in this case, he has made very direct threats to the United States and made his intentions known to all, so I think that justifies action on our part.

It's not like the International community has sat ideally by. They have supported peace talks and sanctions to stop the development of nukes. Some countries can criticize Trump's recent threat, but I'm sure Japan and South Korea are supporting it.

Look at how people have been treated once the US deems them a target. Look at what happened after 9/11. People who looked like they were from the Middle East were ridiculed and targeted. I know a guy who is from India who had his business vandalized because of the hate people had at the time. People thought he was from the Middle East. Look at the sentiment people have now toward South Americans lately with the big anti Mexican vibe in the country right now.

I said that because given the history of Americans we tend to hate things at the drop of a hat, and that hate is never specific, but becomes very general and unresearched. If you look a certain way or have similar sounding names, than you are one in the eyes of many, even if you aren't one. If we start attacking N. Korea there will come with it a level of hate that will be targeting people of Asian Descent here in America.

I made that statement NOT because I want that to happen, but I fear that it will happen. I fear on behalf of my wife who is from China, and my kids. I hope that people in the US know any attacks on NK would be against the regime, and not the people, as they are being oppressed and need to be freed from his control. But the media and digital propaganda will have a big part to play in that.

There is a big difference between a group of unknown Jihadi's flying an airplane into a building and a crazy ass leader of a country who is always in the news threatening about firing a Nuke. Before 9/11 happened the whole Al Queda/ISIS thing was new to most of the US. Everyone knows how bat shit crazy that little fat bastard is, and I have an extremely hard time believing that we would see anything even close to what happened in the 40's.

While that kind of hatred and bias is terrible, concern about that is secondary to surviving a nuclear attack and stopping this threat. It almost reminds me of what the press does when there is an Islamic terrorist attack now, their first reaction is to worry about anti-Islamic "backlash" and "hate," rather than addressing the victims or the likelihood of another attack.

However in this specific situation I don't worry about Americans reacting to all "Asians" badly, as that kind of bias has been fading ever since the liberal progressive racist democrat Franklin Roosevelt interred hundreds of thousands of American citizens because they "looked" Japanese.

A battery on the border? The intel I got when I was stationed there was more like a battery every couple of miles. NK has about 26 divisions, and each one has been tasked to dig a tunnel into SK. Only a few have been found so far.

Shit starting to get real, he is now stating he is going to hit Guam mid August. The news tonight reminded people that WA is not allowed to have a plan in place to handle a Nuke threat, and that may need to be re-visited.
