I wonder if they'll keep believing this even as the missiles are flying at them...

"Oh, don't worry, I'm sure that "rational" NK will self-destruct them right before they hit their targets!"

:facepalm2:

According to NK we have 30 days until they hit Guam.

Much like Obama care - just let it implode then say 'told ya'.

That bunch of ass-ramming uncle fuckers needs to understand what the phrase "beaten within an inch of your life" means. Then give 'em another coupla feet once they've learned that lesson, just to be sure there's no need to worry about them in the future.

Mis for POTUS.
Let's get the exploratory and fundraising teams started now.

Won't work, too many skeletons.

But I like the sentiment.

:ROFLMAO: Brilliant!

(Kind of sad too, in a country perennially racked by famine and shortage.)

So Susan Rice, Obama's National Security Lying Advisor, comes out today and says we should all just get used to NORK nukes. She compared them to all other existing nuke-owning nations and said the NORKs are no different. Then she again slammed Trump as the problem.

Except that the miniaturized nukes, able to fly in a missile, IS NOT NEW INFORMATION. We find out today that Obama knew this SINCE 2013. That means ol' Susan knew, too.

A picture as they say being worth a thousand words, I am done typing.

From the other thread.

New topic just to focus on how to solve this problem.

As I see it there are really 4 main options.

1. China needs to come to the realization organically or with outside pressure that a nuclear and saber rattling NK is not good for China. It will create a war, massive losses, human refugee crisis flooding their nation, and economic ruin in the region. Nukes likely will be traded and then China has a real tough decision. And the US can cancel trillions in debt to China with a pen stroke I believe. Then China can either pressure NK or assassinate Kim.

2. Pre-emptive strike will kill millions in N Korea, and anything less than total instant ruin, will result in a N Korea response somewhere, probably to S. Korea, and millions there could die. We could try to just devastate with EMPs and bugs in their computers but they have conventional weapons just miles away from SK major cities.

3. Park so much hardware in the region that it sends a very clear message we mean business.

4. Wait for a strike, and then retaliate with everything and make NK a footnote in history. Waiting for a retaliation is probably necessary to get buy in from the world unfortunately. Meanwhile, this means NK could continue to improve and build while we sit and wait... not a great option for several reasons.
This kick the can policy is the reason China, Pakistan, Iran, etc. have become or will become nuclear powers.

We have bad options and no good ones.

1. Might happen if China thinks we are serious about preemptive strike. However for that to work we have to begin prepping for and be willing to actually do it, which means we might go ahead with it anyway if China does not try to intervene for us.

2. I think with tons of missile/drone strikes as well as a massive instant bombing campaign we could take out most of their conventional hardware and win a 1st-strike conventional war. NK isn't very big and I think it's doable.

3. This is akin to #4.

4. This is suicide. If and when NK strikes China will likely join them and who knows who else might decide its a good time to hit us.
We cannot sit back and wait.

I just can't believe we are still sitting on our hands.

you know, Saturday is the anniversary of the Bloody Gulch Massacre, it would be altogether appropriate to get some retribution and remove that sh*t pile of a human being at the same time....

This is an interesting comparison between us and NK. They would run out of fuel very quickly, who would hook them up with enough? Pretty sure they don't have the logistics to get fuel from the ships to vehicles or storage very well. Blow up their ports and its literally no fuel for you!! http://www.globalfirepower.com/countrie ... it=COMPARE

I think China is just using NK as a proxy to test our missile defense system. They want to see how far along we are and how well it works so they can reverse engineer it. It's what they do best. And rather than test it themselves, which they don't dare do, they can have their crazy little brother do it for them...all the while assuring him they have his back if we retaliate. Who really knows...

I just think there's more to this than a lunatic dictator shooting his mouth - and his rockets - off.

That is a good thought...
I lean towards China tolerating the irritating mess, and capitalizing on it when they can, but that would change a LOT if it was actually being "driven" by a Chinese agenda.

I don't think he is a lunatic either... Megalomaniac Little Man Complex... Humans are interesting and humorous and dangerous.

No, Lil' Kim is not crazy. Very calculating.
Has the world right where he wants it.
For now.

But ya, this shit can't go on forever.

Let's wait until the price of 65" 4K OLED TV's go down, then withdraw our troops from South Korea. [/sarcasm]

THAT is what I've been saying at work. China is playing us with the fat sardine.
