Your comment makes no sense. This IS the special FBI investigator doing this to Manafort. It isn't a separate issue. It is the same investigation.
Manafort was fired very early in the campaign by Trump. He wasn't around when Trump started to gain in the polls.
But you also make a good point: it isn't Trump. If you want to talk about Trump, we can continue to say accurately that there is no actual evidence of any kind found by Mueller or by either Congressional investigation, nearly a year old now.
