Atlanta Gym owner bans Military and LE from his facility...

ATLANTA -- An Atlanta gym owner has banned police officers and military members from working out at his facility.
Jim Chambers put up a sign on the door of EAV Barbell Club that used an expletive to announce that police aren't welcome there. Chambers tells WXIA-TV that his gym has "had an explicitly stated 'No Cop' policy" since it opened. He says active members of the military also aren't eligible for membership.

I guess he figures there's no real risk of lazyass thieves stealing barbells and nasty bath towels.

[The owner] told the station that people who work out there are generally minorities who are uncomfortable with law enforcement.
What happens when those minorities
are law enforcement? Does the owner's head explode? The previous chief of Atlanta PD (until his retirement in late 2016) was a black man. So is he black first, or is he LE first? Uh oh...
I notice this "simplified" membership policy wasn't posted while former Chief Turner was in command.

Come lift weights with other felons. No cops allowed. Sounds like a good place to do illegal activities like... Steroids maybe? It is within his rights, but a bit fishy to limit your clientele like this.

If you're in a minority that's not comfortable with law enforcement, then you're not law enforcement.

I guess he doesn't want his juice head customers being bothered by cops. Can't bee good to piss off the police force though in the end he'll prob regret it.
