Find a couple of old Dodge or GMC van type motorhomes with blue tarps for roofing and park them in front of every City Council Member's house.
Then see how quick an ordinance that clears out all the parked junkers is passed.
The more the Seattle City Council bends over to help the homeless, especially those who are in that situation due to their own actions (Drugs, Alcohol), the more the citizens of Seattle end up taking it in the anus. Then again, these idiots on the Council were elected and often received votes from the same people who are now complaining.
What was that old saying about people getting the government they DESERVE?

Aren't these the same city politicians who will declare properties a blight and seize them under eminent domain? And now they're voting on a plan to inflict blight on entire blocks?
Hmmmmm...

Pff. They either live in gated communities or out on Cougar Mountain somewhere.

Does this mean we can park anywhere anytime for as long as we want as long as we put a sign in the window that says this is a domicile?

They have to live in Seattle so Cougar Mountain is out. As far as I know, the only real gated community IN Seattle is Broadmoor and they can't all live there.
The rest of the "gated" communities in Seattle are more like "Omega Man" type complexes that are fenced to keep the Ghetto from taking over.

Only if you hang a bunch of clothing and shit on it and leave a bucket full of real shit right outside the door. At least one flat tire is a requisite. Bonus for multiple colors of "rattle can" paint on it.

Some needles floating in a gallon jug of water on the roof would be a nice touch. Kinda make the neighborhood seem like home.

No kidding. Going to Seattle this morning...rounding the bend on I-90 to merge to I-5 South all you can smell is shit...
Same thing when I went down to 1st from West Seattle. Shit, shit and more shit...oh and the heroin addict tramp with fresh track marks on her arms walking, barefoot down first avenue - in the street walking the stripes between lanes...
She looked like she would have smelled of shit if you got close enough with the windows down.

If you haven't seen this vid of a bike ride in California it is a hint of things to come.

They cleaned the 'jungle' and are moving the problem to a neighborhood near you. Don't want the dog shitting in a corner? Let him shit in the middle of the room. makes perfect sense...

I would tone down the Mad Max-ish look so that it draws even less attention, but the concept is brilliant.
I don't like too shiny/valuable an appearance on things like cars and houses. Fortunately for me I have rarely been burdened with things that need to be unshinied up/down.
