8 minutes from Dispatch being notified of officer down to arrival of EMS..
Whoever "Mr. Thompkins" is, he deserves a big thank you from the PD for doing the best he could for the officer.
As for the Jury taking 45 minutes to convict, the first 30 minutes was when they ate their lunch and the next 15 minutes was answering all the questions on the verdict form. I'll bet that not a single Juror had a doubt in their mind how they were going to vote when they walked into the Jury Room.
FWIW, this officer bought his own "Eyeglass Cam" for $30 and look how it provided all the evidence necessary to take another "Obama Son" off the streets. Why can't ALL Police Departments buy the same for all of their officers. Hell, in quanitty they might only cost $20. Instead everyone is complaining about the cost and as a result they have none.

ya some what, he doesn't know cpr...what the hell do you need cpr for he's breathing... maybe he'll take a crash course
and some of them other bystanders just need to shut up and go back home.
one thing that struck me odd once he got to the car why was he not scanning the horizon where the perp was? seems to look at the floor too many times unless the camera angle got knocked.
as deadshot mention shit for $30 why not the dept get these instead of some stupid 1k per camera contract like the cesspool up here wants to spend.

Officers Mom/girlfriend arrived on scene prior to EMS? Wtf? I wish they'd named the brand of camera. That's a helluva commercial!

Broken bones, neck wound, extreme pain. Shit, the guy was fortunate to make it back to the car and get a radio call out in whatever order that occurred.

Some officers and departments are opposed to cameras because of privacy. Not just theirs but everyones. No, really, not bullshit. In WA it becomes information that you can obtain by doing something like a FOIA request. Think about that. If a cop comes to your house because someone reports what they think is a fight going on, do you want your family on camera and accessible to just about anyone? Even if the cop just shows up, finds out it was a movie or you were rehearsing for a play and shakes his head at the bonehead neighbor.
The legislature needs to severely restrict access to footage. Maybe to just people involved in the case.
